Selection criteria
We do not publish a rubric or a score: we publish the principles. Adding a channel is always a human editorial judgement, informed by these criteria and assisted by our analysis tools.
-
Depth over virality
We look for content that will still matter in ten years. Wisdom does not expire with the algorithm; clickbait does.
-
Integrity
Coherence between what is taught and how it is communicated. No artificial urgency, no miracle promises, no fear as a tool.
-
Pedagogical clarity
Making the profound accessible without trivialising it. Those who truly understand know how to explain.
-
Service
The primary orientation is to give. You can tell when a channel exists to serve its audience — and when it exists to capture it.
We do not accept applications
No channel can sign itself up, pay to appear, or fast-track its review. We listen to nominations and decide without haste. That is how we protect the only thing that makes a collection valuable: that belonging to it means something.
